Principal, Managing PartnerAlan Gambrell, principal and managing partner of Public Ink, has over 26 years of experience providing technical assistance, program analysis, writing/editing, communications, and organizational development to over 15 federal U.S. agencies and dozens of states, local governments, nonprofit agencies, and national associations. He has written, edited, and produced over 90 studies, including analyses of health cost and delivery issues, evaluations, needs assessments, reports, national treatment guidelines, and technical assistance documents for health care agencies. Prior to undertaking a career as an independent consultant (1992-Present), Gambrell served as Assistant Executive Director of the U.S. Conference of Local Health Officers and was editor for Health Publications at the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Gambrell has a Master’s in Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin.
