Lauren Deigh, MPA, BSW, serves as a Community and Planning Development Specialist in HUD’s Office of HIV/AIDS Housing (OHH), which administers the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS program. Ms. Deigh is involved in HUD’s activities to implement the National HIV/AIDS Strategies, and co-directs the Office’s Getting to Work initiative. This Technical Assistance effort is designed to build the HOPWA program’s capacity to offer employment-related services in collaboration with community partners. Prior to joining HUD, Ms. Deigh held several positions at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including 9 years as Deputy Chief, of the Ryan White Part D program of coordinated HIV services for children, youth, women, and families.
