Wayne Steward, Ph.D.

Dr. Wayne Steward is an Assistant Professor at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He received a PhD in psychology from Yale University in 2002 and an MPH in epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in HIV prevention and policy science at UCSF. Dr. Steward conducts research and evaluation on programs and policies to enhance coordination and integration of HIV care. He served as co-principal investigator of the evaluation and technical assistance center (ETAC) for the SPNS Information Technology Networks of Care Initiative, and is currently co-principal investigator of the ETAC for the SPNS Systems Linkages and Access to Care Initiative.
