Karl Halfman is currently a Health Program Specialist with the California Department of Public Health's Office of AIDS. Since 2007, he has served as project lead for the AIDS Regional Information & Evaluation System (ARIES). In this capacity, he seeks to bridge the gap between data systems and Program. Karl's experience with the Ryan White Program also includes a two-year stint as a contract advisor for the state's Part B program. Karl's career has been exclusively in the field of public health. Since 1995, he has worked at county and state levels in the areas of vital statistics, children's health, health program development, and web development. He holds a master's degree in Sociology from the California Status University, Sacramento.
