Technical Assistance Project Manager for the Care, Treatment and Housing Program
Mary Kay Diakite, LMSW, completed her coursework for a PhD of Social Work at Rutgers University with a specialty in social policy. She is trained in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. She received her MSW in Community Social Work from the State University of New York at Buffalo. In 2009, after ten years of experience working with immigrants and refugees, she entered the field of HIV serving as the Family Social Worker for African immigrants living with HIV/AIDS. In 2011, she joined the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control as the Technical Assistance Project Manager for the Care, Treatment and Housing Program. In this capacity, she supervises Project Officers who provide technical assistance to Ryan White Part A providers for: Harm Reduction, Mental Health, Outreach to Homeless Youth, Supportive Counseling and Family Stabilization, and Transitional Care Coordination services.
